"The" Journal Entry
I better get to business first. Well okay, not business, but you know- the important stuff.
Robert asked me to Homecoming!
It was so adorable: He and Andrew had it all planned out to ask both Allie and me yesterday after school. I was actually thinking of going to the car since I didn't know what was going on with Ashie and Allie, but figured Allie was going to the theatre anyways. So I get there and Jessie and Allie are coming around the corner and tell me Amira needs me, so I'm like okay. I went around only to bump into all these theatre people circling Grace!!! who had come back to visit. Hugged her, and then Amira like immediately told me she needed me in a stern voice so I was like woah, okay. So I follow her down the steps and there's Raw and Andy so I say hi and Allie walks over towards Jack but Amira pulls her back. She and I disagree over what was actually said, but it was basically like this:
Raw: So I was thinking about what I was gonna do next Saturday night... [i was like, *thinking hard* what's going on next saturday again?] and I decided to call my friend Bare and ask him. Hi, Bare!
Andy: Hi, Robert!
Raw: Who should we take to homecoming next saturday night?
Andy: So we thought, how about those two lovely Stein sisters?
Allie and I just looked at each other and I was just so stunned and so suprised and so happy I went and hugged him. He was like, that's a yes, right? I was like oh, yes! OMG best feeling in the world. Allie said she saw Jessie crash into a soda machine haha. Amira said she felt like Puck with the "four lovers" like Midsummer. heh. I was just so happy, I didn't want to leave him. THen we made fun of Andy becuase he thought we kept like ultra kosher and laughed cuz the boys seem terrified of our Dad. I kept thinking, OMG this is crazy. I seriously had to evaluate how well I could drive on the way home. I must have set a record for how many times I say "OMG" in one day. :-D SO we realize that the dress I was gonna wear Robert has already seen, heh, so Ashie brings us over to her house and I try on some of hers, but she's so skinny few of them even fit. So I guess I'll be on the lookout in NY this weekend. Anyways, so we joke about Mom and taking pictures and the boys and OMG I'm so psyched. (Honestly, this is the first time I've been formally asked to a dance, besides Jesse (blech!) and CJ, but CJ and I were going out so it didn't really count. Joe I just said no to.) But I really am soooo excited and I'm so happy. For once things are really working out with the "love life". And I get to go with Allie to her first Homecoming. She said she didn't mind.
Robert stopped by yesterday. We sat on the pavement and petted Pretzie and listened to "Open Arms" and talked. And we caught Allie looking at us through the blinds, heh. I loved being close in his arms. *sigh* I won't say much more, I promise. But after that I just felt so amazing. I could smell his cologne in my hair all night. *sigh* okay, i promise, no more. ...for now.
I know I was gonna write more about other stuff, but I'll do it later.
