I have just been diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. Kind of saw it coming since my twin got diagnosed a couple years back. My sugars are high enough that doc started me on meds and I'm testing my blood. Started the diet and need to start exercising more regularly.
I also just took three of my boys in for allergy tests. Oldest still has severe pollen allergies, so he wants to start doing the shots instead of the meds. Doc says it will be easier to do the shots when he's at college than the meds. One lil' guy has the same and the other has no allergies. It's hard sitting there while the nurses poke about 20 holes in your kids! At least we now know who is allergic to what and can treat it accordingly
