SFX weekender
AWESOME!!
On the day we got there we saw James Marsters (after waiting 1hrish) and managed to embarrass myself
by -
JAMES - *signing pic* Oooh we almost kiss here!
ME - Yep, you don't want to know how many times I've seen that clip
JAMES - *laughs*
ME - Yep, I also downloaded it on my ipod so I can always watch it
JAMES - *continued laughing (a lot) and put his head on the table*
We then went on to have a convo about how he didn't realise there was such as interest in gay relationships on tv .... overall he is brilliant!
Then went and saw a brilliant Ten look-a-like and got my photo taken with him (with a bit of flirting, ah who does it hurt?!)
James Marsters panel was funny and brilliant, I love him even more now!
Also watched my first Buffy episode (once more with feeling), something surreal about a whole room full of fans
singing along word to word ... although I am now addicted to that music XD
Also went back to watch JB on Jonathan Ross XD .... made me laugh ... a lot!
Next day waited for Gareth for over 3 and half hours ... and I told him that lol, well after I said -
*take note that I am grinning through out this like a mad man*
GARETH - How are you?
ME - very better thanks ... hang on, very better ... that makes no sense at all!
GARETH - It does it my world (thats my squee moment :))
ME - We've waited over 3 and half hours for you
GARETH - wow really?!
ME - Yep, only waited 1 and a bit for James Marsters
GARETH - *laughs* ha I'll tell him that
ME - Yep, I'll wait longer for you though any day
Watched Tom Bakers Q and A whilst in queue for Gareth and then went downstairs to watch Being Human on a huge screen
(before it was shown on normal tv).... was brilliant!
Went back to watch Gareths talk .... I wasn't surprised about what was said but he is utterly amazing!
SFX awards were entertaining, and I am so chuffed for Gareth getting the Cult Hero award ... not sure why Day 5 got best TV episode though ... they should have given us a choice of earlier TW episodes.
Watched Torchwood on the big screen as well, although they showed Day Five *holds back tears* ... wasn't happy :(
Ooooh and I also got a pic taken with an actual size Dalek! XD
Everyone who was there was utterly brilliant and so friendly, I don't know how many random people I spoke to over
the weekend XD, especially thanks though to everyone who kept me and Natalie company in the queues for autographs XD
So overall .... I loved it and it was the best weekend ever!
Prob will remember other stuff later on :)
Oooh quotes of the week -
'Shove your Captain Jack up your Ianto' - Gareth
'One day you could be naked with a pink tutu and the next having to make love to a gerbil' - James
