Last night, there was Phase 10 with a side of drama at the ebomb. It was mostly fun, and I finally got to meet Eric and Kane, both of whom I've heard so much about. I got to play Eric's guitar, which is much like my guitar, except that mine is better. He has a red Applause. I have a purple Ovation. Ovation makes Applause. Yay!

It's been a strange day.

First, I came to work to open the library. One of the physicians wanted me to print copies of her 91-page handout for her presentation today. The copier is on the blink, and the large B&W printer is running out of toner. ARGH! And I had to leave at 9:15am.

Nikki and I did the worship service at Azalea Estates Assisted Living Community. That was weird. Nikki gave the devotion, and it was really good! Afterward, there was lunch snagging at MickeyDees.

I came back to work, and there was drama. The copier guy was called, and the toner was replaced in the printer. Goodie. And I've done a bunch of random stuff. I've found articles for people, burned a powerpoint presentation onto CD with a tricky burner, printed a ton of handouts for someone else, etc. Random.

Tonight there's praise band rehearsal.

Tomorrow, there's Mrs. Boo's funeral.
MRS. BOBBIE "BOO" MCINNISH PAYNE

Boo was listed in Who's Who Among American's Teachers & received the Outstanding Award as a "Louisiana Unsung Hero in Education."

She was a member of St. Paul's Chancel Choir, taught Sunday School, and worked in the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Payne directed the Caroler and Cherub Choirs and was a member of the Spirit Builder's Sunday School Class.

Boo was a soloist with Monroe Chamber Chorale, a member of Masterwork Singers, and Musical Coterie. She was also a member of AK Chapter of PEO.

Boo wished to thank all her friends for their gifts, prayers, care, cards, visits, food and flowers, along with the doctors and staff of M.D. Anderson, Dr. Charles Morgan, and Hospice Care of Louisiana, Inc. Her family will ever be grateful for all the love and friendship shown her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Music Ministry of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Grace Episcopal School, or a charity of your choice.

Online messages for family may be sent to www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com

Obit found here. I'm actually looking forward to her funeral. Does that make sense without sounding terrible? I'm looking forward to seeing everyone that I haven't seen in a long time and sending her off like she deserves. Mom and I sent her flowers this morning. The florist mentioned that it was a "memorial service" rather than a funeral, so there's probably no body. If she's cremated, I hope she's in mausoleum at the church. It's located right behind the choir room at St. Paul's. How appropriate!

Tomorrow is also Friday, and I'm looking forward to the weekend. I don't have any grand plans, but I'm looking forward to at least sleeping a little on Saturday. I also have cabinets to stain.

When I went by the church today, my 30 Hour Famine kit was in! I'm so excited about this! I'm sure you'll hear me ramble on and on about it later, but it's a program that raises money to end world hunger. I'll have details later if anyone wants to sponsor me or one of my youth.

Only an hour left of work today! Here's to hoping that nobody comes up with anything else major for me to do.
