What a week!
The final yesterday was nothing short of entirelytoofreakingdifficult. I had many conversations with my brain, most of them going something like this:
Me: "Brain, what's the structure of histidine?"
Brain: "Nu-uh! Not telling! You can't make me!"
Me: "Please, brain? Just this last exam, and then you can rest!"
Brain: "Nope! Not a chance."
After the final, a couple of the girls who've been studying together got pedicures. Now my toenails are bright pink! I love them! No one else really likes them, though. Who cares? Not me!
Brad cooked dinner for me as a "Yay! You're finished with summer school!" gift. Grilled pork chops and steamed corn and fresh veggies. Mmm! It was great! Oh, and beer. There was beer.
After dinner, we had band rehearsal at the church. I, like the forgetful dork that I am, left my guitar at home. But they pay me to sing, right? Not to play guitar! I'll bring it on Sunday. Hopefully.

In other news, my Papaw (Mom's dad) had an appointment here at the hospital today. They just admitted him to the ICU. He's apparently in Atrial Fibrillation. Keep him (and my Mom, mostly) in your thoughts.

In other other news, it's Judith's birthday! Judith is our Sunday School teacher. We were going to try to take her to dinner or something, but her son has a baseball game, so we won't be able to do that.

Back to work today. They called me to help over in the hospital today, pulling charts and whatnot. So I did. Then Jo took me to lunch at Arby's. Mmm, chicken salad sandwich.
Alrightie. Back to looking like I'm working. At least for another hour.
