Almost alternately, the journals I've read today have been "I hate Valentine's Day", and "Woo! I'm in lurve! Bunnies and Roses!". I'm a "Bunnies and Roses" kinda girl myself, but I'll agree that Valentine's Day was invented by Hallmark. Of course, I'm supporting Hallmark today. Almost every card I gave for this holiday (and I gave/sent quite a few) was from the Hallmark store. So sue me.
I have, so far, had a most fabulous Valentine's Day. After my first class,
Brad and I have a break, so we went home and snuggled and exchanged gifts. I got Rocher Balls, a new scrapbook, and King of the Hill Season 3. I gave a Hallmark purring lion named Valentino, a Very Sexy for Him gift set, and groovy socks. After snuggle time, we rushed back to school, where I discovered that my next class was cancelled. I ran into
Nikki and gave her a stuffed flower and some candy and a hokey card. Brad and I ran and picked out a bottle of wine for tonight, then I dropped him off near his class and headed to work.
Work... There's so much food here! Brownies and cupcakes and cookies, oh my!
Tonight, I have to tutor. Then I'm picking up Chinese food for Brad and me and heading back to my house for Valentine's chill time. We may even watch some King of the Hill. How romantic is that? ;)
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
