Madison
It's about seventy degrees and breezy this Monday morning. And I finally found a place to get free wi-fi until the cable guy comes tomorrow. And I just managed to pay off my credit card with money I was saving for something much more impressive than paying off a credit card. So, all in all, things are on the up and up.
Quinn apparently loves grass. I mean, he always enjoyed it (as dogs will) in phoenix. But he never actively sought it. I think it's because the grass here has bunnies (which a harrowing experience near a motel 6 taught us he is too slow to catch). Also, grass is really pretty when it shimmies in the wind. I love grass.
UW Madison is basically ASU if ASU were awesome. State street is twice as long as Mill Ave. and fifty percent less commercial. Their student union is called Memorial Union, but is lakefront and has a pub with a stage. And best of all...it actually feels like Madison WANTS to be a college town. It would have been nice to feel wanted in tempe.
We can't afford furniture yet. Hell, we can't afford a trash can. But! When we do, I will start taking orders for people who want to hang out with me in the coolest place ever.
