As per pre-treatment to alcohol process, approaching her yourself won't necessarily work. Take a bunch of friends. They don't need to be mutual friends. You could even hate their guts. Hell, sometimes that's more effective. Grab them together, discuss said alcoholism, and all of you corner her at once and tell her to get some help. The more people that you can get to tell her that she needs help, the more she'll realize it. But it's most effective if you work as a group. I've told some of my friends face to face when I knew there was a problem. Somtimes it works, sometimes I need some people to back me up. It almost always works when you have people to back you up.
