Fucking awesome.
I hate how profanity has leaked into my entries. I also noticed that I cuss a lot when I talk to myself (we all do, right?). Like sometimes I look in the mirror and mumble, "dude, what the fuck man..." Or, I might be overhyping something about school and I might suddenly say, "dude fuck that shit." I swear just a little more than usual in my actual daily speech too, but I don't think I'm going overboard. I don't like to swear but I do it almost subconsciously now and whenever I catch myself cussing a lot, I feel guilty.
I've also noticed that I'm becoming a sucker for slow songs. Not acoustic songs, but the slow ones with drums. Take the Green Day album, for instance. My favorites so far are this current song and Boulevard of Broken Dreams, both of which are ballad-type songs. My favorite song off the Letter Kills album is the last one, Hold My Heart (Part One), the slow song of the album. Favorite song off the Dead Poetic album (currently)? Dimmer Light, the slow song. Fave off the Blink 182 self-titled album? I Miss You, the ballad. Favorite off Warning? Macy's Day Parade, believe it or not. Favorites off Futures, the new Jimmy Eat World album? Polaris, Night Drive, and 23, all mellow songs. It's ironic how I can't stand acoustic songs, though. I'm also a sucker for drums, I guess. Hmm...does this mean I'm a pussy? Wait...I already am a pussy...
Life is alright. Homework is moderate, but compounded with my procrastinating it's become quite a burden. Right now I should be doing it but again, I'm procrastinating.
