today's events:
1) saw man on golf course that looked as if he had jumped out of a Ralph Lauren poster. stared. discreetly, of course. waited five minutes by the first hole, so i could see him tee off. wished HIS tee were off. walked away, disappointed that he just kept taking practice swings. didn't want to appear like the creep that i am. decided waiting more than five minutes would be just weird. yes, even i can draw the line SOMEwhere.
2) consumed three shirley temples and a virgin pina colada. killed four cherry stems.
3) bought and wrestled with a rubik's cube. didn't make much progress, but felt sophisticated doing it. : )
4) saw four wedding parties, in separate locations
5) watched bagpiper walk along the ocean. mmmmmmm.
6) talked with erica about our future fame and fortune. eyes glazed over.
7) pretended to be in a bitchy mood for about an hour. ugh, it never lasts.
8) ordered an $8.50 bowl of popcorn. bitchin'.
9) found out that Clinton and Tony Blair will be staying at this hotel on my birthday!
10) went to Victoria's secreT!
11) rented a really nice car from the hotel!!! built-in GPS and drop-down DVD screen included. it had this really awesome feature where it shows you what's behind the car when you put it in reverse. so i made my mom stop the car on the side of the road, then got out and fucked around in front of the camera for a few minutes. a few cars passed, and i'm sure they were weirded out by the sight of me crouched behind a car, waving and jumping around for no apparent reason. hahahhah oh my god.
so on and so forth...
ugh, i don't want to leave this place : ( i go home tomorrow. mraaah, 30 degrees hotter in sacramento. fuck.
