So I started the Machine Tool classes at the tech on Monday. Yesterday I got my toolbox, and I realized that very little makes me happier than a good set of new, well working tools. A lot of the stuff was for testing for accuracy, but other stuff, like metal bluing and the ball pien hammer, is just cool to have. Today I learned how to make a chisel out of "soft" steel, and will probably be making one out of expensive materials tomorrow. All in all, this seems pretty cool, and I'm pretty enthusiastic about it.
Oh yeah, I'm also playing Ocarina of Time. I'm all the way up to the Bongo Bongo boss. I'm in no way going to 100% it, but I'm not making Trevor cry when he watches.....that's got to be good, right? This is the first rpg I've ever played, and it becomes more complicated when one realizes that my memory isn't worth crap. I'm having a lot of fun, though, and had managed to get some of the stuff later on in the game that I was having problems with when I first started (for instance, Epona) so I feel like I'm getting a little better. Anyway, that's it.
