Bach Would Be So Pissed…
On Saturday, at the Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church in Seattle, there will be performances of all six Suites for Unaccompanied Violoncello by Bach. Some of the best cellists in the Northwest will be playing. Among (and in contrast with) them, I’m playing the Courante from the second suite (in d minor). This is going to be my first major public solo performance in almost five years. “Nervous” is an understatement.
