the importance of having friends
so this was a surprisingly crazy weekend and it's bad that im up this late writing this seeing as how this week is gonna be so fucking busy. friday night, all like 9 of us ended up eating at tomadatchi. hae jung's friend kendra and i decided it was like a holiday hallmark card (insert laughing and jolliness). which is kinda gross. then we went to the gallery opening at the hammer..can i say OPEN BAR WHJAT?! Erica and I pounced on that shit like fucking lions on an antelope. and in fact. i did get a lil tipsy on the wine. it was all very sophisticated and stuff. made me very proud of X for having a job there. the comics were cool but i was too full off dinner to pay much attention. Too bad we didnt get to the opening earlier cause we could have been tapping that bar all night. I came back here and talked online for like 20 minutes and then passed out. i think the rest of everyone went to a frat party..yes i know, gross and random.
last night nelly gave us the reminants of her (and nicci and marie's) booze, and blessing erica and i drank it all while meeting one of X's friends from Irvine. she was cool. engineering just like me. i get a call from joseph asking me to come to the gay party down the street. i, drunk at this point, agree and drag erica and blessing with me. it turned out to be a disaster with joseph's friend who was completely rude and obnoxious. so we left asap. today was like OH SHIT I HAVE SO MUCH IN THE THREE DAYS BEFORE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY. so i did my 2 p-sets quickly and tackled all the linear shit i had to know. i also finished that damn scholarship thing that i have to turn in tomorrow.
luckily, and kinda sadly, i dont have my imagineering seminar tomorrow. but i need all that time to fucking start on the 105A problem set. thank god for kicking that midterm's ass. i think im set for the rest of the term in there.
i cant wait to go to redlands for thanksgiving. i love LA and all but i feel like i havent been anywhere lately. I mean, melrose is about as far as we get. hollywood is old. it gets expensive. im excited to see jessica again, and her delightfully hairy legs...oh berkeley kids are such hippies.
