So color me shocked that in the Spartacus series finale my favorite pairing survived! And the pairing was canon, that never happens. At the end of everything the gay couple were the last ones standing.
Walking off into the sunset, with kids none the less.
Of course there are homophobic assholes all over the internet that are pissed off that the gays survived. When a fan asked the creator about it, this is what he said.
