My next vehicle will be purchased from a company that built it here in the U.S. and one that, for the past 10 years, has been *creating* American jobs.
GM has been busy outsourcing its labor force from manufacturing to engineering to India, Mexico, Canada and China (I know, I was there BTW). Same thing for Chrysler. Same for Ford (although not as much per sales volume unit).
Toyota and Honda have spent the last decade building plants, engineering centers, vehicles and parts in the U.S.
So if Toyota and Honda can increase sales while building in the U.S. and employing Americans, why is it that GM, Chrysler and Ford all claimed they had to outsource jobs and manufacturing to make money? It's bullshit. The upper management of GM/Ford/Chrysler are fucking idiots. The day of unionized labor is over; we have laws to protect us.
My next vehicle is very likely to be a Toyota or Honda...so I can support American jobs.
