its been a while
i know it has been a long time on this and there is some reason for that. i had a terribly busy summer for one. and probably the main reason is that a journal is a place to record your personal thoughts and i dont feel that a lot of what i am thinking should be public knowledge. i write in another journal--just a notebook. so this thing is more like a "what are you doing" than a "im a journal--write in me".
classes were a bitch this summer. especially thermo and the CAD project. i made it through them though. got all A's. i am very proud of that because of the difficulty and the time i put into them. this will tell how hard thermo was: i got the 3rd highest average in the class with a 79.1% which scaled to an A. ouch.
i am thrilled that v for vendetta is now in my collection however with all my business this summer i never saw X-men 3 or the DaVinci Code. i really wanna see them.
i regret to say that i gave in and paid to see snakes on a plane. better than a paul walker movie. better than starship troopers if it didnt have denise richards. took too long for sam jackson to drop the mf bomb. it was hilariously bad.
it is good to be back at work though i cant help but feel alone again because i will pretty much see the same couple of friends all the time and not really anyone else. and i am feeling neglected. i wont go into details there.
i am ready for the football season. i am stoked about the kings men. i have 2 fantasy football teams, 1 survivor football league, 1 college pick em league, and 1 pro pick em league. it should fill some of my time so i dont sit around thinking about life. that never turns out well.
in case i forget later, mark and others: dont send me dumb text messages with no purpose. i am not singling out mark, he is just the last one to do it. the reason is that i have to pay for each text sent and received. i have no problem with the occasional one with a purpose and i laugh at the funny random ones but it costs money. so if you wanna send a random text, send it elsewhere. if it has a purpose, i would prefer a call but a text would be ok. and while i am on a roll, i just dont get why people cant call other people anymore. AIM, facebook, text--so many ways to talk to people without actually talking to them. it is sad.
about a week and a half ago i got a new car. paul got the pooper (now referred to as "blackbeard"). so i drove the ghetto suburban for a while. none of the gauges work, the radio knob is gone, the cd player is broken, the inside lights turn on randomly at their own will so i have to disconnect the battery everytime i wanted to stop for more than about 10 minutes. i got fed up with that. i got a 5 speed blue 2000 jetta. the inside smells like a crayon so it will be referred to, at least for now, as "cerulean". it is quite fun to drive though. i love it
