Franklin, Frankly!

I dog-sat this weekend for my parents. On Saturday, I went over to Judy's house up the road and dug through her attic for restoration-y items and played with her animals. Horses mostly. I'm hoping if I help her clean the stables, she will let me ride some of her horses soon. They are frighteningly huge. Not at all like My Little Ponys. More like, big-ass fucking stallions! So I am a little scared of falling off and the whole paralyzation thing, but I think I'll be alright. I've never jumped a horse before either...on purpose that is...there were those times when Helen's horse would go insane on me and throw me into trees, creek beds, fences, etc...but I'm older now and have more confidence. I also know a good deal more swear words, so that should keep the little buggers in line.

Our cat Jones killed a chipmunk today. I took it from him as soon as I saw it to find out if the thing was still alive. It was definitely dead. A small memorial service was held in the orchard which was presided by Myself, and attended by canines Coby and Dallas, and newly appointed "Killer Feline of the year" Jones(who didn't seem to be all that upset over Mademoiselle Chipmunk's death, but had a surprising amount of things to say via body-language concerning the human tradition of burial.) Woe to the Chipmunk Republic.

Also, The Libertine is fucking brilliant. See it if you haven't. But don't watch it with your parents or your siblings or your parents and your siblings, or anyone that you wouldn't talk about graphic sexual practices to. Or do. I don't care.
