Myka and Pete exchanged a shocked look. Artie was trying to use an artifact against a person he believed to be Paracelsus. They needed to speak with him in private. He was acting recklessly and that wasn’t like him. Well, not usually.
“Hand over the artifact. I don’t want to hurt anyone.” Artie said as he pointed a strange looking raygun at the Watcher. But Artie knew nothing of Slayers and their reflexes. Before his finger could even twitch, Vi had knocked him unconscious.
Buffy glared at the remaining two. “Do we have to knock you guys out as well, or are you going to take your friend and leave peacefully?”
“Look, I know we got off to a bad start, but we really are the good guys. And I think you are too,” Pete said.
“Then you best leave while you are behind.”
