Prediction
A couple of friends and I were talking yesterday (Saturday, Thanksgiving weekend) and we seriously believe that we all will be dead within 15 years. Me thinks that is a generous assessment. While this may come as strange speculation, there are two reasons for this:
1. The rediculousness and strangeness of our life in general right now
2. It is better to live a life that bears likeness to a bright flame, but these are usualy brief and extinguish quickly, rather than a long boring, average life.
I think that the quote following is appropriate:
Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once.
^This all said in actualy optimism, for why fear the inevitable?
