A Brief Absence
So I'm going down South tomorrow, but not in a good way. Choir. Ugh. I get back on Friday morning, so I will be here for any Friday night/weekend furstivities (take that English language)
On the plus side, my housemate is lending me his chipped DS, and he just finished downloading a pack of 200 DS games. So that solves the problem of boredom, pre, during, and post-trip.
Also, I've got a few albums from 2008 I haven't given a proper listen to that I need to before my inevitable best of 2008 lists are published. Hopefully i'll work my way through Calexico, Portishead, Atlas Sound and Horse Feathers at the very least.
And I definetly need to finish The Satanic Verses, got halfway through it in 2 days about 3 weeks ago, and haven't picked it up since. I'll also take along a couple of Ishiguro novels as some light-ish reading in case I finish that.
