Dan Deacon

So after the amazing perfomance of Mogwai, which I am too tired to eloquently write up about (that's my excuse anyway), Dan Deacon came and closed the festival with his peculiar brand of electro-pop. As expected, he was spectacularly entertaining.

As an example, a circle was formed of the crowd on the dancefloor, and one person was pulled out from the crowd, by Dan Deacon. He was then told to run around the crowd, hi-fiving everyone, until he decided to pull someone out. The two of them would then continue to run around, hi-fiving, until they pulled further people out until, well, exponential growth happened, and everyone was running in circles. Along with a dance-contest in a similar vein, a dance tunnel, and general insanity, a great time was had by all.

The show ended with a sing-along, similar to the one illustrated in the video below ( kurreltheraven will be happy to know that he insults iPods):

And, of course, like every other night, the first song they played after the show was Wolf Like Me. And as after every other show, I proceeded to go nuts. Best Wolf Song Ever. Sorry, foxen_alopex:
