WARNING...this is kinda gross!
So, yesterday I discovered the absolute WORST way to start your period. When you're in public, wearing a skirt, and you aren't aware of anything happening until suddenly you feel wetness dripping down your legs and you look down and see drops of blood forming on the ground between your legs. Also, one thing that sucks about NYC is the lack of public restrooms, most stores just don't have em...so..my only real option is to get home as fast as possible, which proved to be daunting thanks to the breeze which had my skirt just BEGGING to fly up and reveal my bloody legs which I TRIED to wipe clean with a tissue without being too obvious but wasn't very successful....wow, how embarrassing. Note to self... ALWAYS wear shorts or something under the skirt..JUST in case :P
