We stayed at the landmark Madonna Inn last night in this room: http://www.madonnainn.com/tour/156.asp

ROCK SHOWER!!! ROCK SINKS!!! and our room came complete with a leperchaun!
Good food, great drinks, awesome friends.

It just sucks that we had to get there so late and leave so early because the mister had to work yesterday morning and tonight. How's that for a mini-vacation?

Anyway, the whole thing was awesome and we'll have to reserve way in advance to get one of the super nice all-rock rooms. He wants this room: http://www.madonnainn.com/tour/137.asp

Martinis are fun. More fun than beer.

He might have a week off after he finishes what he's working on. I think he should go visit his friends and "be with the guys" because he misses them, but he doesn't want to "leave me here alone". I said I have work, and if he's not here I can invite people over, or not feel bad about hanging out with friends without him, but I think he's still feeling off about going on vacation without me. I really don't want to go because the whole trip would be guys talking about getting it with girls and me just not wanting to hear about it. (He's not "not allowed" to talk like that with his friends, I just don't care for hearing any of it.) Especially working in a place where less than 10% of the company is female and half of them are in HR, the topic can get a little irritating.

If I can wait for a bus to the airport in Harlem at night by myself multiple times, I think I can manage having the apartment to myself in a secure building in the corperate business section of town. :P

I noticed that after I drink a lot I really crave tomato soup.
Tonight we're having low-carb pasta and meat/tomato sauce....YUMMMM! Though I'm sure the mister will go "I didn't want that" and just make himself something different after I spent the time cooking and getting the groceries, but I was told that's common when you're married.
