(no subject)
Hey guys!!! How have you all been? I've been good... Well we finally got our computer, a brand spankin new one and we FINALLY got high speed internet. lol Yeah I know, I'm back with the times and had dial up for years..haha!
Well, I've finally turned 19 guys! I can actually legally buy smokes and drink at bars and get into clubs. :) It's a great thing yes indeed! lol It was an okay turn out for my birthday supper. I invited alot of people (like 35) and alot of them said they would definitly be there and stuff and then called that day or just didn't show up. Kinda made me mad but I also realized who my true friends were. The day of my birthday I went to my Dad's new house and met his new girlfriend and her son. It was okay. It was really awkward at the beginning, but she's nice. Not Shannon, but she's nice. Shannon was my dad's fiance, and things just didn't work out with that. So we're sitting around and talking and stuff, and I know my Dad really isn't happy that I'm with a different color of a guy, so I brought my boyfriend along because it has been a year and 2 months and I think he really needs to get over that. So Faysal came along, he was really quiet and stuff, but my Dad told me yesterday on the phone that he's a really good guy, so I'm hoping he was talked to about it, and he realizes that I'm happy and that is all that counts!! So sorry, we sat around and talked, and then took a tour of the house, and then he brought out my Birthday Present! Last year my Dad gave me Corningware...If anyone doesn't know what that is, it is just pretty much glass casserole dishes and dishes... So this year he got me pretty much EVERYTHING you need to move out and use in your house/kitchen. It was awesome. I know it's really weird getting that kind of stuff for your 19th birthday, but its REALLY going to come in handy!! He got me a huuuuuge laundry tub filled with everything you can think of. Dish cloths, a pack of 10 baking sheets and baking pans, knives, stuff for my bathroom, got me one of those Digital Phone/Radio things that you screw into the bottom of your cupboard and it has a CD player, Radio and a Cordless phone attached to it, got me a 102 Piece Kitchen set which comes with all of your basics (cutlery, drainer, knive set, cutting board etc;) and then gave me a nice card. It was awesome! I'm really not going to have to buy ANYTHING for my apartment when I move out.. So then we went outside and kinda sat around and talked and he checked out my car and stuff and then I had to go because we had dinner at 5 and I still had to get ready! It was really nice seeing him, I'm glad he's at least trying, but I know now not to get my hopes up anymore!
So..on to my birthday supper! Got all ready at my house and then realized that the shirt I bought, I didn't have a bra for that went with it, so that kinda sucked! But I managed! Got to Crabbys at about 4:45 and nobody was there except for Kristy.. lol So right then and there I was nervous..but then people started showing up from all over the place! lol Turned out we had about 25 or 26 people show up to eat and have a good time... Of course I had to get up on a chair so they could sing Happy Birthday to me and it was fun.. Don't have pictures because they still haven't been sent to me yet. Which sux, but when I get them, I'll definitly post em'! So then after alot of the people left, it was the closest of my friends so we all went to Heidi's (my best friends sister) house to chill there before the bar. It was a good time there, had some good laughs, played some cards and stuff and just all around had fun with everyone that was close to me!
Then we went to the bar and they kind of made a big deal of me not being 19 until midnight, so that stupid, but of course I had an excellent time and made the most out of it. Again she wasn't going to serve me at midnight, but then Brad the bouncer said that I come up there all the time and pay 5 bux (when i wasn't 19) so she let me drink. I didn't get drunk no, but I was buzzing a little bit... Went to Faysals and slept and then got up the next day and enjoyed my birthday off with pay! ahaha
Nothing else other then that is new... Seeing my little neice and nephew lots, and enjoying my freedom with my car. Went to my first club last Friday and that was fun. Still enjoying all my hockey games and stuff.. and still the same old life. lol I hope everyone on here is doing good and enjoying life... I'm sorry I'm never around and I always say I'm going to update and then never do... But really its because I don't lead an exciting life, I work, and go out and enjoy hockey. lol Alot of you guys actually have fun lives!! lol Well there's my update... Hopefully I hear from some of you and you let me know how everything is...:) I should get going to bed now because I have to work nights tonight at 11 and I should really get some sleep before then!!
