[ CHARACTER INFORMATION ]

Name: Sakura Kinomoto
Age: 12 years old
Gender: Female
Fandom: Cardcaptor Sakura (namely, from the manga)
Timeline: The end of Volume 10, during the festival.
History: Wikipedia should cover it, but if you need me to elaborate, I'd be more than happy to.

Character Personality:
Sakura is just the kind of girl that's easy to love. Cheerful, sweet and upbeat, it's no wonder that Sakura makes friends with almost everyone she comes into contact with. With her infectious smiles, caring personality and innocent nature, she somehow worms her way into even the toughest of hearts given enough time. She's also incredibly loyal to the people she cares about and can never stand seeing someone feeling down, going out of her way to try and cheer them up if possible, which usually tends to endear her to the people around her.

Growing up without a mother doesn't seem to have overly affected Sakura, though that isn't to say that she doesn't miss her mom. She's actually very responsible for her age, adept at keeping house, doing chores, and even cooking meals on her own, for all that she's only 12 years old. Her father and older brother both know this, and trust her to be able to take care of herself whenever they're out working late, though Touya still worries about his baby sister even if he'd never admit it out loud.

In the past 2 years since she first discovered the Clow Cards in her father's office, Sakura's grown a lot, both magically and emotionally. After overcoming a lot of obstacles to reach where she is now with the help of her friends, she has more confidence in herself and is more mature, though she's still very naive and innocent in many ways, especially when it comes to things like romance.

Still, Sakura is ever the optimist, and she never lets anything keep her down for very long - not math homework, boy troubles, or even the magical (mis)adventures she usually finds herself in. All she has to do is believe in her friends and her abilities, remember her Invincible Spell - that "everything will definitely be all right" - and do her best.

And in the end, things usually do, indeed, turn out for the better.

Character Abilities:
Sakura's a pretty normal girl aside from the whole magic bit, though she's rather more athletic than most girls her age. It's likely something in her genes as her dad was number 1 in the track team when he was in school, and her older brother plays on the soccer team. Sakura herself has shown to display her athletic abilities in races, marathons and in presentations done by the cheerleading club which she's part of. Her athleticism comes in handy when chasing Clow Cards in the middle of the night, too.

When it comes to magic, besides being able to use her Clow Cards and their many abilities, she can also sense magic and the presence of spirits. While she can't see ghosts like her brother, she can tell when they're around, which led to her fear of ghosts.

She also has prophetic dreams at times, and can also read fortunes using her Clow Cards.

Character Weaknesses:
One of Sakura's most apparent weaknesses is the fact that she's still just a little girl who's got a long way to go before she fully grows up, though she's got good stamina for her age and plenty of stubbornness and determination to make up for it.

One could also argue that her naivete and her caring nature could be weaknesses if found and exploited by the wrong person. In the series, Syaoran scolds her a few times for not being suspicious of characters like Mizuki and Eriol and for trusting too easily. Her tendency to care too much could also (and has) manifest itself in her refusing to hurt people, despite it leading her to try and find alternatives that are likely riskier and more difficult to pull off to get the job done.

Of course, there's also Sakura's fear of ghosts. She can handle most supernatural events thrown her way, but at the slightest hint that ghosts may be involved, she kind of falls apart until someone informs her that it's likely just another Clow Card or someone is in need of her help.

[ MEISTER SECTION ]

Why your character should be a Meister:
Sakura would make a good Meister because she's used to working with the Clow Cards in a way that she would have to with a Weapon. To Sakura, her Cards are more than just tools for her to use to complete her objective; they are dear friends to her and she cares about them. She views her Guardians Yue and Kero the same way, working with them instead of simply ordering them around.

There's also the fact that she's pretty athletic and can think well of what to do on the fly.

She's also rather headstrong and has something of a hero complex, and she might not take it very well if someone tries to prevent her from helping others. An example of this is when she snuck out in the middle of the night despite being sick with a fever to stop a magical fog created by Eriol, ignoring any protests made by Keroberus to prevent her from going out.

[ SOUL INFORMATION ]

Soul Description: Optimistic, caring, brave, sweet, lively, innocent

Soul Appearance:
Just a bit larger than your average soul, Sakura's has a pink center edged with white, with smiling and cheerful face. It also looks like it has pigtails (like how Sakura wears her hair most of the time).

[ SAMPLES ]

First Person: [video post]

[the PDA turns on abruptly, and the picture moves fuzzily, as if the communicator's in motion somehow. it stops then, and all you can see are tiny feet in wooden sandals and the edge of what seems of be a petal pink yukata.

looks like the PDA had fallen out of someone's pocket, and its owner seems preoccupied with other things]

---lease! [a pause, then a frustrated sigh. mumbled:] But why...? It was working all right just a while ago...

[louder now, and a bit more determined:] One more time, then!

Key that hides the power of the stars, reveal your true power to me! I, Sakura, command you by contract: Release!

[it's obvious that the speaker is a young girl, and when nothing happens, she slumps down to the floor. a bit of her profile can be seen now, but her features can't be seen clearly from this angle. her hand's clutched around a key hanging around her neck]

But... I can't sense Clow-san's power here, and everyone disappeared all of a sudden. I don't understand. The man in the school said something about a war and witches, too, so magic...?

[and now she's looking around, as if trying to find something that would help her understand, and finally she spots the PDA on the floor, a startled, "Ho~e!" escaping her.

she scrambles over to pick it up and squeaks when she realizes it's been recording this whole time. as she fumbles to find the off switch, her features can finally be distinguished - honey-blonde hair and bright green eyes - just as the transmission finally ends.]

Third Person: [This is taken from an old app of mine for a different game. If you want something different, just tell me.]

At first, it seemed like just another morning to Sakura when she woke up. She sat up, rubbed the sleep from her eyes, and wondered what was going on, her sleepy mind still not quite done catching up with the recent events.

Perhaps the thing that really made it very clear that something weird was going on was the lack of Kero-chan trying vainly to wake her up, a very loud counterpoint to her alarm clock ringing shrilly in the background as it did most mornings.

...Kero-chan?

Oh, that was right. Hadn't he been arguing with someone last time she'd seen him? With... with Suppi-chan, over in...

Wait. There was something there.

Blinking blearily, Sakura paused, frowning, her mind still a little fuzzy from having just woken up. She was going over yesterday's events in her head again, trying to find out what was so off, when awareness slammed into her suddenly, and caused her to jolt fully awake at last.

This, unfortunately, had the added effect of causing to topple off the seat with an undignified yelp. Bemoaning her luck, she noted, with a growing sense of dread, that she was very notably not in her room at home.

For one thing, this place was moving.

Dragging herself back up and off the floor, she grumbled under her breath, catching her balance by placing a hand on the wall, before glancing around the small space with not a little confusion and apprehension. Hadn't she just been in Eriol-kun's mansion, having tea with the others while the enigmatic boy explained everything that had happened in the last few months to her and her friends? How on earth did she end up here?

Her brow still scrunched up in a frown, she looked around once more, trying to find anything that would be useful in helping her to solve this mystery. In her perusal, she noted that this place, this train she seemed to be on was slowing down and that there waas a window. After a brief moment's hesitation, she squared her shoulders and marched on over to it, determined to find some answers, peering cautiously out, taking in the sights of an unfamiliar city.

She shivered, feeling a little frightened, but she tamped down on her fear. She'd survived all sorts of magical mishaps before, after all - she was sure that she'd be able to weather out whatever was thrown at her at this point. All she had to do was believe that everything would be all right, and she just knew that it would turn out so.

...Right?

[ NOTES ]
Reapplication for Sakura! She was previously a meister as well with the ability "Moe Soul".

She won't remember her previous time here, and will be coming from a different point in canon this time around.
