the sound of music drifts all throughout the mansion grounds. it's a lovely day, all sunshine and cool breezes and just enough clouds drifting across the sky to keep the sunlight from being too bright.
technically speaking, considering what month it is, it should be fall, but garden all around is in full bloom, the trees all green and the grounds fragrant with the smell of flowers.
there are refreshments and small tables set up everywhere in the house - the solarium, the garden, the library, everywhere. it's almost as if the whole mansion is set up for some kind of grand tea party.
somewhere from inside the house, you can almost here someone singing.]
