have done absolutely nothing productive this break. have spent a lot of time watching the history channel and discovery and discovery health. know loads about meteors and the fibonacci sequence and babies. and last night i watched a program on pbs about 20th century artists. have scribbled several messy notes in the moleskine about these things. also have become very anal retentive. will begin 'jonathan strange & mr. norrell' now. hefty book. may take a bit.
