Veteran's Day. Woot. So, Caroline & Leah came over last night & ended up sleeping over. Which is always fun. We watched bits & pieces of Cold Mountain, talked, ate junk food. Ya, know, the usual. Anyways, we woke up around 8:30 to the sound of Paige's phone alarm. We got dressed & walked down the gray streets of Kingston in hope of having a good cheap breakfast meal at Sweet Treet. On our way, we came upon an old guy of 80 years & he was such a gabber. He was talking about how he had to walk a mile to his farmland & how his school was made of wood. We left the conversation abrupty with a simple, "Happy Veteran's Day!!" & than made the desicion to take the access road because it would make the walk 5x's faster. I was told someone was murdered back that. Which does not surprise me, to say the least. Anyways, we finally made it & we all get the usual thing we get. "The $1.19 Specail with extra cottage fries & a glass of water." Which comes to a total of $2.00. It's awesome. Saw the usual Sweet Treet workers & the usual Sweet Tweet custumers. After we were finished we headed over to WalGreen's, where we looked at Christmas ornaments; magazines; makeup; sunglasses; etc. Took some pictures, of course. umm..than headed over the Convenient Mart 'cause we needed a snack. I bought a $0.25 little debbie cake in the shape of a Christmas Tree & it was yummy.
Basically, it was definitely a good kick-start to my veteran's day. heh. You know what's funny? My 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Ganz, told me & Caroline that once we hit Middle School we would never be friends again because we would meet new people. But, I guess we proved her wrong in a sense. Because, I mean, we've had our arguements & fights that lasted well over a 1-month span, but we never stopped being friends.
Here's to being friends for 11 years. : )
Leah. With a Christmas Hat. Taken at Walgreen's.
Leah at Sweet Treet. Playing with a straw, I believe.
Caroline, looking sexy as ever with those fake aviators.
I could definitely make a statement with granny glasses on.
Man, those pillows are really comfy. The material it is made out of is really weird. You'd have to feel it for yourself.
I fell asleep. & I got a handful of weird looks.
KINKY!!
Scamp. Caroline's cute little puppy.
