About Work
So, the corporate office decided to remodel our store. Now, we have tile. It looks a lot better than the speckled, institutional carpet that had been on the floor for the past eight years. However, it hurts my feet a lot and they kinda swelled to twice thier normal size. ;{
On another note, Danielle, as much as I like Charlie, I believe his unconventional manner of speech and the degree to which he uses facial expressions as a form of communication makes him unsuitable for retail. He goes up to customers and with eyebrows raised and eyes squinted and says, "Samples...?"
Why yes, they are.
But yeah, he's funny.
Yesterday I got to leave work and go to the new store Oil and Vinegar to deliver truffles and eat some samples. It was pretty delicious. I approve of this new store. They sell spices, and oils and olives and useless cunlinary things like that. It'll be a good place to buy gifts for Jeremy and Jessica. They like olive oil and meat.
