So the surgeries went well on Friday. In and out with no complications. Nothing necessarily hurts, it’s just uncomfortable to do things like swallow.
When I try to swallow water or whatever I’m eating, I can feel it try and go up the back of my nasal passageway and I feel like I’m going to choke. To make matters worse, my nose is draining into the back of my throat as well as out the front, so it’s annoying.
Friday and Saturday, I ate nothing but Ice Cream. Today, I started eating Applesauce. On Tuesday, I'll introduce mashed potatoes. See how that goes.
I have a follow up with my doc on Thursday to see how everything is going. Hopefully by then, I’ll have this swallowing thing taken care of.
