My grandfather and his brother, my great-uncle, had both passed away many years ago, and I kept both their prayer cards tucked into the molding above my bedroom door. Every so often, I would notice that one card or the other would have fallen down. I mentioned it to my father one day, and he told me that they often played games of chess against each other, so I thought that may be them playing each other in Heaven, and whoever lost, their card would fall down. There's one more thing I can think of.
My father passed away last year, and a very strange thing happened when we were in the cemetery during the service. It had started as a sunny day, and it started raining lightly when we were putting the flowers on the coffin. When we were finished, it stopped. Now that doesn't seem so strange by itself, but I visited his grave in August, and it was a pretty clear day, and it started to rain when I walked up to the gravestone, and stopped when I walked away to leave. After the cemetery, I went to a diner in the town where my father had been raised, and where he raised me, and it began hailing, in the middle of August. That was definitely my Dad. Had to be. No other explanation, except for coincidence. Nah. It was my Dad.
