ARMOR:: Can it be taken off? + What clothing does X wear out of it?
In essence, yes. If he wishes, X can remove the armor, pretty much whenever he wants. He doesn't wear anything underneath the armor, however, as he's not built THAT much like a human, so there's no need to.
He does have a small store of human clothing, most of which is still in the same shades as his armor, but which is pretty much completely across the board. He's got jeans, hoodies, t-shirts, and the like, along with a bit more "dressy" types of clothing, though he's never had the chance to wear it come up.
BLEEDING:: Is it real blood? What color is it?
As humans as Reploids are, I don't believe that they bleed actual, real blood. It makes no sense for robots to have blood, after all, and it likely would hinder them too. As for what it really is, I would assume some sort of oil or coolant, or something else they recycle and use to function.
For color, while some people and sources I've seen say it's green, I believe it's a more dark reddish color with an oily texture, therefore, that's what I'm going to be going with.
HUMAN FUNCTIONS:: Do they have them? Can they get sick?
Well, yes and no. I believe that Reploids can, in fact, eat pretty much anything. They don't "digest" quite the same as humans do, and they, by far, don't need to eat at all, but they can, if just to put humans more at ease. Some Reploids, such as X, can taste it, though obviously tastes don't bother them too much. They also can take showers, either in full armor or without it, to get whatever grime that fighting or working has gotten off them. However, they don't sweat, they don't need to use the restroom, they don't throw up or get drunk or anything of the sort.
As for getting sick, no. Being as their bodies are entirely robotic, the only thing that could make them "sick" would be viruses, and that wouldn't make them sick in the way that humans get sick.
DAY OF SIGMA:: How do you treat it?
I believe that Day of Sigma is somewhat AU-ish. That is, there are things I take from it, and things I ignore.
I ignore the talk Dr. Light had with X, for one, though I think
kickasspacifist phrased it best: "Those scenes make it sound more like Light wanted him to fight, instead of the implication I'd always felt from the games that Light made him to choose and just made preparations in case X should decide to fight."
And as I feel, and I know that at least a few of my friends feel, part of X's charm is that he was made as the first to be able to do one thing no robot ever has: to choose what destiny he wanted to follow, even if that destiny involves battle.
TIMELINE:: Where is this X taken from?
This X comes from the end of Command Mission. Before the whole thing with Megaman Zero and becoming a Cyber Elf. This is partly because I haven't had the pleasure of playing the Zero games.... or the skill to beat them, but partly because I like X better as a Reploid, even if I think the angelic look is cute.
Berserk Button:: What makes him angry?
X isn't really the kind to have many of these, but one for sure is hurting anyone close to him... or mass-murder of innocents. There can be a few others, but chances are that, if you're the kind to push them, you probably don't care that you're pushing them anyway. Mun herself has no such button, so don't hold back on her account!
Body Makeup/Biology vs Robotics:: How is his body made?
First off, X's eyes are
not exactly normal looking, but how your character reacts to that is obviously dependant upon that character and your own choice.
X can pass as human relatively easily, especially without the armor on. His skin feels and seems, for all intents and purposes, like human skin (seeing as Reploids can get scars), and probably can't be told apart from the real thing, especially seeing as he "bleeds." However, everything below the surface is very much robotics and technology, and those characters who can sense heat will be able to see that his is distributed through his body a differently from a normal human.
Soul: Does X have one? Can it be felt?
X does in fact have a "soul," though it's different and more powerful than most human ones. Characters that can sense souls, such as Shaman King ones, will get a very powerful reading from X.
Romance: Is he open to love?
Yes, X is very much open to falling in love. However, keep in mind once more that I consider all Reploid bodies, regardless of who or what it's made for, to be built like Barbie and Ken dolls. That means that X is not "anatomically correct" for those of you who are a bit slower on the upkeep, which means that all relationships won't be going past a certain point. (And X probably wouldn't go that far anytime soon even if he WAS correctly made, being a gentleman and all.)
Also keep in mind that X is careful about this sort of thing -- he knows his life is dangerous, and that he himself is, so any characters who can't protect themselves will have less of a chance.
The last thing to remember is that X is adorably awkward on this matter.
SOMETHING ELSE:: I have a question about something not said!
Then please, by all means, get ahold of me somehow. I will gladly answer any questions, and will update this as needed in order to clarify everything.
