POKE!!!
I went and got my immunizations today, in case I lose my whole spleen. Appointment was for yesterday but they messed up and didn't know the amounts for one of the medicines, so they had to call Dr. Caddock but he would take a while to call them back so we had to reschedule. And that was AFTER we waited for an hour.
My dad and I had to wait for an hour today before I finally got my two shots. Doctor started preparing the needles and asked me which arm I preferred or I could do one shot in each arm. One was for muscle and the other in fat. So I just pushed up my left sleeve and told them to do them both there. She seemed a little surprised as I watched her jab me with the thing, not even flinching or anything. Needles don't really bother me at all. The one in the fatty part of my arm stung a little, though, I felt the stuff go in.
January 20 is a Friday, and that is the day I go in for surgery. They need two weeks for the immunizations to settle in or whatever. But before I get sliced up mom's taking me to a bookstore so's I won't be bored as I heal. Yay! ^_^
