Strange
My day started off so terrible I figured it was going to be one of those "ride it out" type of days. Seven calls today. 4 ALS and 3 BLS. Went to one of the local nursing homes for a sweet older lady with respiratory distress. It was one of those where the staff says it just started and you know its been going on for hours. She was CHF and full of fluid, poor thing. With a little lasix and a well placed tube (pat my own back) she made it to the ER with more color than when I found her. Hopefully it will be the outcome she would want most.
On a lighter note, I made an attempt to give a stranger a vote of confidence tonight. I hope it is well received.
