It seems like people are unsure of how to begin.
Here are my recommendations:
Post to the main comm as if your character were writing in their journal/on their computer/PDA etc. for the first time after finding a barrier. Whether they have crossed yet or not is up to you. The Traveler's Network is up and running, and characters can communicate with each other however they wish.
Or perhaps your character has already been running around some other lands and has just recently discovered the Traveler's Network. That's an option, too.
Another option is to post a real life to the main community of your character either discovering a barrier for the first time or exploring a new land. This is a bit tricker to pull off in my opinion, because it really relies on other players to work, and everyone seems to be a little hesitant to make any radical moves at the moment. We can save this for later, when everyone is more comfortable, and people have perhaps plotted out ideas for real life interaction out of character.
Just ideas, really. Come on, guys, an RPG is nothing if people don't actually post.
