Introduction
Hi, I'm Polly. I'm 20 and I was in a car accident just over a year ago that turned me world upside down.
Broken pelvis
Broken right femur (ahem, smashed more like)
Broken left tibia
Fracture meta-somethingorother in my left foot.
Smashed up jaw.
3weeks of lying flat on my back not being allowed to sit up...etc
Monthes of limited mobility becuase all my muscles wasted away.
I just stopped using a crutch. I waddle like a penguin.
Feel like I've cheated death, feel like I owe the world something for being saved, feel like an old woman because I can't do my own laundry...blah blah blah
I refused to defer entry to university so I'm at Uni now trying to regain my independence and identity. You are welcome to come and look at my journal. If activity picked up and stuff this could be a really great community.
