Christmas

Ever since I was little, I always loved Christmas. So, every year I get really happy around this time. I was really upset in the beginning because I realized that there was no real place to put a christmas tree in the house. I haven't had a Christmas tree since I moved to Maine, and that was always one of my favorite parts of christmas. First, I couldn't have one while I lived with my grandparents bc they live in this puny little trailer and there was barely enough room for all of us to live. Then we moved to this run down p.o.s. apartment on Free St. and not only was there not really enough room (we could have found a place) but the fuse was constantly blowing when we plugged stuff in. It was really annoying like if we ran the microwave and toaster at the same time, the fuse would blow. It really sucks to start out with nothing. Now we live in this pretty big house, but there are 5 people living here, so we have 5 people's stuff and there's no room for a tree. So I came up with the idea of getting a little tree and putting it on top of my mom's air hockey table. She told me I couldn't put a real one up there bc there was a vent right there and she didn't want to get anything on her table. So Dianah went out the other day and bought me this cute little 4' fake Christmas tree. I hate fake Christmas trees, but I figured since that was the only way I was going to be able to have one, I'd deal. So now I have this cute little christmas tree that's like half decorated bc I can't get anyone brave enough to go up in the attic and get me the rest of the decorations. However when Rob gets home from work, he's going up to get them or I'll like...give his XBox back to his brother tonight lol. (Love you baby!) So I've been working on getting the house decorated, but it's slow going bc I can only do so much right now, where it's getting so close to when I'll have the baby. It should all be done by Christmas though.

There is one thing that I absolutely hate about Christmas though. The whole shopping part. I mean I love getting people presents, picking them out, and wrapping them. I have this little issue though, of where I wait till really close to Christmas to buy everyone's presents, and the stores are SOOO packed. Of course it sucks too bc if you need to go to the store for anything right now, you pretty much have to give yourself like a half hour just to buy like a loaf of bread anywhere. So anyways, the other part of shopping that I hate is the way my wallet (or should I say Rob's wallet :D ) looks when we're done. We're pretty much done now though. The only thing that sucks, is that we won't be able to get the last person's present until Friday, and that's 2 days before Christmas, so the stores are going to be SO terrible.

I've gotten just about everyone's presents wrapped now too (i love wrapping). I wrapped Rob's, Mom's, and Stacy's and stuck em under my baby Christmas tree. So when I came downstairs this morning, Mom had already been snooping, and she was like "I know what my present is." So I was like what about the other one? So we sat and argued for a second about whether or not she had two presents under the tree (I should know I mean I bought them, I wrapped them, AND I put them under there...but there's no use arguing with her sometimes) So she went and checked and then proceeded to tell me that she knew what that one was too. It was a CD and a DVD so it wasn't really hard to figure out what they were. But I was like it's still a surprise bc you don't know what CD or DVD.

So now I'm off to clean house, get some more decorations put up, wrap the rest of MY presents and then start wrapping mom's (she knows how I like to wrap presents). I told her that I would be willing to wrap mine for her too but she didn't go for it ;)

Well if I don't get on here again b4 Christmas, Merry Christmas to everybody!!
