"...I think that this whole being late think is stupid for assemblies. First of all, the doors are always locked before eight. Secondly, one should only be marked late if they miss assembly completely. One could argue that everyone would arrive late then, but this is not the case. Under my sistem, people who miss the beginning of assembly still have to goto the top level. I don't like it that much up there. Besides getting a tardy, my incentive to get to assembly on time is to avoid being uncomfortable. What should also happen is those who do make it too assembly on time get food. Quite simply, my system would lead to less hassles and more harmonies mornings that would tighten the hopkins community...."

That was an excerpt from an entry i made a while ago. Thinking about it now, assemblies would be so much more logical if breakfast was served then. I mean, it's natural for people to eat together, so, for everyone concerned about the unity of the school, this is just a great idea. I would happen every morning, and essencially replace advisor meetings, except, advisor groups would eat at the same table... and what ever. I'm sure you all get the point. It's obviously impractical, but, if i could work, it would certainly be better. no... wait. Hopkins might develope a sort of bording school atmosphere.... mmm, bad. ok nevermind. what do i care anyway.

Prom situation: it's good to know that i'm not anymore out of the loop than i was last year. we (three couples) made a move to save some money, but it seems that at least half of us are certainly seeing the down side. Yet, i take a step back, look at the big piture, and it's really not so bad. The seven days starting the saturday before our graduation will be one of the best weeks of my life. RADIOHEAD, graduation, prom, after prom, after after prom. it's go time.

...but that's after i hack my way through my physics paper and my spanish paper. woof.
