writing about... CARS
well, it's been a month since i last wrote anything substantial. so here's a little recap of what has taken place so far...
1) C is for costs... well, i have been a car owner for about a month now. and thanks to my reckless driving, my lovely mazda 3 is now at the workshop getting its front door replaced. definitely expensive to be driving but hey, it's a liberty that i never experienced before.
2) A is for ang pow... chinese new year was a bore this year, mainly cos i was stuck at river hongbao for about two weeks. the job is a no-brainer but what to do? i have bills to pay and a car to support. the bore factor was made worse by late minute scenarios that i had to deal with. so there was hardly any family time this year which brought about a bout of depression.
3) R is for rest... there is no rest for the wicked. post chinese new year was total defence week. had to launch two roadshows. so far so good but there were the usual hiccups. overall, i am very pleased with what i offered this year. having said that, i can definitely do with a lot more sleep.
4) S is for salary... the past couple of days saw me handing out a fair bit of money. fees for actors, salaries for the chicken rice stall and there are more salaries i have to hand out. feels good to hand money over and give people a pat on the shoulder and say... thanks for the great job OR well done! hehe... also, am very thankful for the big G for my salary too. definitely much more than what i projected or ever expected.
