writing about... New Beginnings
counting down in church has been a part of my life since i don't know when. ever since i joined trinity at 11, i think i missed only two watchnight services.
for me, the service is always a good time to sit down and reflect on the year that has passed while thanking God for each and every blessing. this year, there was much to thank God for. the meaningful relationships cultivated, the multiplication of finances, the new heights and depths i was shown.
however, i believe, (never thought i would say this) like what pastor dom says, 2008 will be a year of new beginnings...
here's what's new for edwin so far...
1) new portfolio: will be the debating coach for anderson junior college
2) new responsibilities: been approached by a couple of event companies to supply talents (mainly hosts)... so i'm an agent of sorts
3) new writing style: been used to writing more slapstick pieces. attempting to write deeper works, whether plays or articles.
4) new business venture: am part owner of the family chicken rice business... more details in a later post
so whether or not you subscribe to my God... i pray that 2008 will be a year of new beginnings for you too...
