writing about... WRITING
having found no interesting headlines from the past weeks... i have decided to come up with a brand-new feature which will hopefully become more regular on this site...
well, i was conducting an interview for a retired journalist and before we parted, i remarked that winners write history but writers record the truth. her retort was, 'that depends on what kind of truth you are talking about.' well, i enjoy writing (though my blog hardly qualifies that statement) and i do wish for my writing to speak the truth. but does truth still exist in this day and age? i think it does, or rather HE does, the trick, though, is if the writer in me is recording all THE truth? maybe not... (insert course of action) some things are best left unspoken...
