Happenings:
-it looks like i'll be going to sonburst in october. its like a youth rally i guess. everyone that's gone before says its totally awesome. we got to pick three workshops to attend while there and i'm pretty excited. i found out about it through the christian organization here (intervarsity). I.V.(as they call it) is a really great thing. i'm really thankful for it. the worship is really awesome and so are the messages. most of the time a college student gives the message, and i think that is really great. last monday there was a fire drill that interupted the speaker's message, so after the firedrill we stayed outside and she finished and we sang some more songs. it was really powerful and totally awesome.
-i got a mengingitis shot yesterday. the lady poked me twice...lol...
-um...i watched forrest gump last night, again. we (my roomate, jen, and i) watched it to fall asleep to, but i should have known i love that movie too much. i stayed up til 3 watching its entirety. i love that lovely movie. i think its my favorite.
-oh! i got picked up on the side of the road the other day. i was walking to the bus station to get a ride to wal-mart, when these two girls threw me into the back of their green volkwagon bug and forced me to go to cracker barrel with them and meet one of their moms. i met the leader (valerie) in speech class (i had to give a speech about her) and the side kick was valerie's roomate (uh, i can never remember her name...hows about we call her floyd). valerie and floyd are both generally nice and amiable people. since the obduction we have eaten lunch together, watched forrest gump together, watched west wing together, and we say hi to eachother in the halls. its nice to have someone to say hi to...and who actually says hi back...but i think we're too different to develop a lasting friendship. they get tired of me easily and i frequently don't understand what they talk about (which i think causes them to get tires of me easily) so, well, we'll see what happens.
-i got a number of videos on ebay and received them in the mail a couple days ago (look for later entries on these videos).
-i'm feeling pretty uninspired right now (and for the past 2 weeks), so don't hold this terrible entry against me.
