Have I Told You How Awesome My Sister Is?

I received a slip of paper in my mailbox telling me a package was waiting for me at the school's post office. On any usual occasion, this incites strong emotions of glee and giddyness, but this was no ordinary package.

This was a package from my SISTER! So to celebrate, I skipped all the way to the post office, where a nice, middle-aged man commenced the search for my precious treasure. It took him longer than usual. Sometimes I think he memorizes exactly where he puts each peice of mail because there is no apparent organization. However, today he had other things to worry about, like the phone that would not stop ringing and the teacher asking which one of the clearly labeled slots he should put his very important letter into. Anyway, he finally found the package and gave it to me with a visable question on his mind. After looking at the letter, I could tell why. The envelope had a conversation heart candy glued to it! How great is that?! I (and Jerry the mail room worker) was amazed that it remained adhered to the envelope all the way from Tulsa, but then I remembered, "Jessica can do anything." So I proceeded to open the letter, first very carefully so as not to disturb the candy heart, but then remembered what it with stood and ripped the envelope open in anticipation. A lovely letter was enclosed which is now ticky-tacked on my wall, but that's not all.

First of all, I have to tell you how awesome my sister is. She really can do anything! She not only does it all, but she does all of it with beautiful style and endless creativity! If I tried to list all the things I admire about her, not only would the list be ten pages long, but it wouldn't even do her justice! She is so smart and articulate and beautiful and funny and...uh! I could just go on and on and mean every word of it. I'll just leave it at this: I feel privledged to know her and blessed to be her sister.

Okay, so now that you kind of know what kind of wonderful person we're dealing with, maybe you can appreciate how much I value everything she gives me. So, getting back to the "but that's not all" cliff hanger, she made me a bracelet and what a bracelet! It is so cool/ingenious/biodegradable!

Isn't that great??!! I just love it. So simple and so good. So yeah, my sister is a creative genius and I love her.

Jessica,
I
