There will be advanced screenings of the Golden Compass in about 800 theaters nationwide, this Saturday at 7 pm. I was able to find tickets on Fandango for the place closest to me (a 40 minute drive, and I'm hauling my ass there even though I have like a million other things to do), for what it's worth.

In other news, I still haven't seen Beowulf yet. I am sad.
