A/N: Remember when GD was photographed in a transsexual club? That's where this came from. :Db
She's gorgeous, with elegant hands and beautiful wide eyes and small, natural-looking breasts, and she stands out so much from the other dancers that Ji Yong can't take her eyes off her. She seems to look back at him just as often, her lipgloss shimmering in the dim light whenever she smiles at him.
"What's your name?" he finally asks her after sneaking off to the club three times in two weeks. Young Bae looks at him like he's insane and sinks further down into his chair.
She leans closer, one hand still wrapped around her pole, and tucks her long hair behind her ear. "Eun Jung." It's the first time Ji Yong can see her this clearly, and he tries to burn her face into his mind. She's too pretty to be working here - soft and curvy and perfect compared to the other girls' awkward, angular features.
"I'm Ji Yong."
She laughs. "I know." Another song starts and she goes back to dancing, the small gem in her belly button sparkling as she shakes her hips to the beat.
Ji Yong goes to the club even more often after that, much to Young Bae's dismay. He talks to her once she's done working, even walks her home a couple of times. He wants to ask a million questions but holds back, just enjoying her presence and letting her talk about her day.
They kiss for the first time in the back of the club (the owner usually lets him in with nothing more than an amused, knowing look), and it doesn't matter that she's slightly too tall or that her voice starts to sound a bit wrong when she gets too excited about something. They exchange phone numbers and decide on a place to meet that Friday, and Ji Yong can't stop smiling. Young Bae hisses at him to wipe his mouth when he gets back to his seat, but seeing the shimmery smear on the back of his hand only makes him smile even more.
He wakes up the next morning to three increasingly annoyed messages from Hyun Suk on his voicemail, first asking if he'd really gone to a transgender club, then yelling at him never to go again, then switching to just warning him to be more discreet next time he goes. He turns on his computer and isn't surprised by the articles and pictures he finds - it was bound to happen at some point. He reaches for his cellphone again, but she doesn't pick up.
She doesn't show up at the cafe that Friday, either.
Ji Yong knows that having her workplace suddenly splashed all over the Internet probably made her realize what it would mean to date him. So he doesn't insist, and he doesn't go back to the club. He hasn't started caring about public opinion, of course, but it's clear she doesn't want him there anymore. It's not the first time this happens to him, and he knows there'll be other girls (and other boys).
He wishes it hadn't happened so fast, though.
(If I see any moronic comments about transsexual people in response to this story, I will tear you a new asshole, k?)
