A Thank You.

Dear Arcade Fire,

Thank you for delivering again. I'm proud that you did not succumb to the pressures of your sophomore year. I believe you have a bright future ahead of you, and over the coming years I have the confidence that you'll continue to make the right steps at the right time. Just remember that you have to do what's right for you and never give in.

In your freshman year you seemed depressed, vulnerable, and despite succeeding at everything you did you still seemed to be unsure of yourself. But something happened on your summer vacation. You appear to be finding your voice, and as you became more honest with yourself you became more honest with us, and that's refreshing. You're wearing your heart on your sleeve and you're willing to stand up for it. You're not scared to look your critics in the eye and respond accordingly. You're conquering challenges, you’re growing in strength and you're taking down kings.

You have my most humble gratitude. I'm proud of you. I just wanted to let you know.
