So. What an odd weekend. Starting with friday night, I've gotten a total of 12 hours of sleep, maybe 13. We had 3 wonderful days of play (for me, they went good, sucky, very good for those who are keeping score), and I ended up finally making sense of my parts. I had the meap on saturday morning, and the science part was highly subjective/middle school. Scottie K knows what I'm talkinabout. needless to say, I think it was retarded, but I think I still did all right. Notre Dame won, and they're soooo better than ASU. (HI JENNY!!!!)
Anyway, the last performance of The Laramie Project was really good. After all that practice, the late nights of Hell Week AND that early Dick Cheney day that we got gyped out of, after spending a weekend and then some blocking and then COMPLETELY redoing about a quarter of it, we finally made it. (I don't even think I've mentioned it in the lj by name yet. Note to self: the play I was in last year was Bury the Dead.) Some mishaps (most of them highly humorous. Go scott knaffla's face during the telephone scene), but everyone I saw did phenomenal. sweet beans. And then, of course, the cast party. Some people (You know, ______, _______, and _____) were SOOOOOO ______ and ______. (insert props to madlibs here.) So I ended up just chillin, chattin, and making sure those people were alive. : D Yay cast party moms. and me. I didn't play spin the cellphone, truth or dare, or any other of the crazy games. (I'm a good boyfriend, see? i swear!) I didn't drink or smoke or do drugs. (not that I do otherwise) If you have a cast party and don't do any of these things, is it really a cast party? Answer: I'm Danny Chichester... and I have Sweet Wheels. (That means yes.)
I went to dinner at tier's for the first time since the play started. When I saw her at the play, it was the first time I had seen her in a week. Considering I usually see her every day, I was going through major withdrawl. I think I still am. I kinda forgot how pretty I think she is... No smarmy comments from the peanut gallery, alright!? And, of course, I have today off, she has tomorrow off, she has a half day thursday, and I have friday off. Way to make a schedule, Cranbrook and Sterling.
So I took my "senior picture" today. It isn't really different than any other picture, but it was weird anyway. The sunset was really gorgeous when I took it, but I couldn't get a good picture with me and the sunset together. It had some sort of magnetic effect on my hair. But I wrote my senior page too... I'm going to miss everyone...
Anyway, enough with the procrastination. After this 3 day weekend, I've still managed to put off homework to the last minute.
cheers,
ted
