Nov 2nd - Game Day at Fort Meigs
Lots of fun miniature gaming, in all genres beside the historical.
First game was a War of 1812. I was a lobsterback this time around. Ultimately lost, but the expression on the yank player when he suddenly relized that two companies of Lobserbacks were suddenly beside him was worth it.
2nd game was Sci Fi, humans vs robots. Luck of the draw meant that my ground troops didn't get into place to fire effectively. However my tank ended up in a standoff with a multi legged walker/robot tank. We kept hitting each other but failing to penetrate respective armor. All the ground pounders were gone on both sides, two human manned tanks, the multi legged walker and a floater were left pounding on each other. Finally, the walker penetrated, but it was fun anyway.
Ah, now to obsess over miniatures gaming for the next week or so.....
