Hi all!
Well our adventure has now started.
Caught the plane to Sydney yesterday morning, then on the train to Gosford. The train trip was cool, once all the city-graffiti stuff was passed the country side was awesome. The train line follows the edge of a series of lakes and hills. Really peacefull to look out the window at it.
I also got a chance to test out my backpacking skills. I have the feeling i probably look like a giant turtle. And for Omegamorningsta, i actually had to clip the day pack to the front, something i swore i'd never do as it looks sooo dorky. Oh well, all part of the adventure.
Tonight we are having a get together with all the 'nephews and nieces' (he he he, hard to imagine that i am techincally an aunt) to watch the Muppet movie. Couldn't think of something i would rather do than that.
It is freezing here and there has been gale force winds over the past day or two. The blue mountains have had snow yesterday too. Guess my dreams of the cold have started early.\\
Anyhoo off to eat more tofu cream cheese (yes! tofu cream cheese. I am in lurve. )
