Post holiday bl-...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
So we went to a barbeque at Chris and Tina's, and that was cool cos it was free food and good conversation. Thanks guys! And then we got chauffered around the city in Bob's cushy ride, the "BOBITRON". We went to see the fireworks in the city and they were actually quite good. I was impressed. I didn't think Rochester would put up the money for good fireworks. But I felt like a little kid again watching the pretty lights ("I like the pretty lights").
I was being polite at work and asking everyone "how was your holiday", cos honestly, I don't really care and hope they don't really tell me anything except "good" or "nice" or some shit, but everyone's all like "I worked, WAH!" And I'm like, so did I, beeeeee-otch, and I bet you didn't get up at 4:00 a.m. either, but whatever, I still made the best of it. People suck.
I have a hefty work week cos I'm working three jobs this week. I do work at the Uof R as a standardized patient, and man... it's scary some of these kids that are going to be doctors. When I was taking gross anatomy there back in the day, I thought everyone in the teaching hospital was fuckin' rude (cos they are, mostly), but really they just think that they're better than I am. If anyone reading this is a med student there I'm gonna get my ass beat, but I don't care. Y'all are rude! (that was my rant for the day)
Anyway, I hope everyone makes it through their work week.
